Image of painting by Pam Hoyle"I have always been interested in natural fibres and have used these in weaving and knitting projects over many years. I am now keen to explore new ways of using silk, cotton, wool and viscose in my work and love the contrasts made with beads, fossils and semi-precious stones. I no longer want all my pictures to have square or rectangular borders but to explore different shapes and softer, overlapping edges."
