Pam Hoyle
Pam studied Art and Design at Lancaster College of Art and Landscape Architecture at Gloucestershire College of Art and Design. Worked with Brian Clouston and Partners, Landscape Architects, 1974-76. Began Robin Hood's Bay Antiques and Crafts in 1983 to present day and expanded to knitwear design. Third business was established in York 1988-1995. Fibre collage work has been developed in 2004.
"I have always been interested in natural fibres and have used these in weaving and knitting projects over many years. I am now keen to explore new ways of using silk, cotton, wool and viscose in my work and love the contrasts made with beads, fossils and semi-precious stones. I no longer want all my pictures to have square or rectangular borders but to explore different shapes and softer, overlapping edges."

Pam will be a part of a four woman exhibition in Pannett Art Gallery, Whitby from 20th August to 16th September 2005. Pam's work can also be seen at the Stuart Duckett Architecture and Design Studio in Sandsend.
