Aldersyde is a red brick Victorian villa, built in 1893.

We can be found in Upper Bay, a 5 minute walk from the atmospheric and maze-like cobbled streets of the older Lower Bay, once a fishing village and smugglers haunt.

Recently renovated to a high standard, Aldersyde offers guests the perfect place to stay, to sample the delights of the village and further afield.

We have three spacious comfortable guest rooms all with large sumptuously comfortable beds, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers, flat screen televisions, wi fi and built in USB sockets for charging your devices.

Our sunny guest breakfast room provides a pleasant place to eat a hearty cooked breakfast, using locally sourced produce, or lighter choices such as fruit, cereals and yoghurt, accompanied by Rington's teas and coffee or fruit juices. Please let us know of any dietary requirements and we will do our best to accommodate.
The breakfast room has a seating area providing a comfortable place for guests to plan their adventures, or relax at the end of the day.

We have a handy outside tap for washing off muddy walking equipment.

Aldersyde is an old building and as such, is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users, or those with restricted mobility, as all of our guest rooms are on the first and second floors.
