Wonderful location 

Fernleigh is a lovingly restored Victorian house which dates back to 1895 and is situated in Upper Bay, just 5 minutes’ walk from the old cobbled streets of Lower Bay.  

Delightful accommodation 

We have 4 beautiful rooms, all ensuite with a hint of luxury. Each room comes with tea/coffee making facilities, freeview TV, hairdryer, towels, toiletries and home baked treats as standard. 3 of our rooms have seaviews across the bay to Ravenscar and 1 has a view over the garden at the back.  One of these is a stunning suite with far reaching views across the bay, in addition to the standard facilities as with the other rooms it also has a private seating area, fridge, bathrobes, bluetooth speaker, fridge with complimentary soft drinks and coffee machine. 

We also have a beautiful breakfast room, which includes comfy seating for you to relax in having enjoyed the delights of Lower Bay in the evening.

Yummy breakfasts  

We serve a fantastic selection of locally sourced produce for breakfast everyday between 8.30am and 9.30am. Options include a hearty Yorkshire breakfast (vegetarian option available) locally smoked salmon, fruit, yogurt and a wide selection of cereals. Let us know if you have any special dietary requirements and we’ll do our very best to accommodate. 

Wi-fi is available throughout Fernleigh. We also have a secure outside area where bicycles can be stored. 

Due to the age of the building, unfortunately, Fernleigh isn't suitable for wheel chairs.
