Robin Hood’s Bay

Robin Hood's Bay Ghost Walk

Come on a Unique Tour through Streets and Alleyways as you listen to Tales of the Strange and Supernatural, Smuggling and Shipwrecks, Folklore and Legend.

Meet at the slipway onto the beach outside the The Old Coastguard Station Visitor Centre. There is a board outside on days of Ghost Walks. It lasts just over an hour and takes in the lower half of the old village. There is some gentle walking up the alleyways and some steps but all takes place at a leisurely pace. Please call 01947 841198 for enquiries and see below for further information.

This walk is suitable for most ages and intended to entertain, captivate and inform but is not really suitable for small infants (under 4), babies and pushchairs. Quiet and well behaved dogs are ok if unable to leave them.

Please see programme below for all public walks and just turn up at the slipway in the dock before the walk leaves at the appointed time. No need to book.

All walks are weather dependant but will go ahead unless it's heavy rain or a howling gale.

GHOST WALK PROGRAMME

Apologies to all for the recent suspension of walks due to illness. Victorian weekend ghost walks are cancelled but I plan to run one or two walks over the Christmas holiday and there will definitely be - weather and covid permitting - the annual New Year's Eve Ghost Walk at 6.30 pm.

Please watch this space, go to website or the Robin Hood's Bay Ghost Walk FB page for updates.

All new walks will begin at February half term in 2022 for next season and as part of the North York Moors Dark Skies Festival.

Happy Christmas everyone!! with warmest wishes, Rose :)
